| The Atlan Tool Quest In-game Quest Guides: The Spectre Intro This dungeon, in the Northern Dires, is where you can acquire the stone tool used to remove the major and minor stones from an Atlan weapon. The dungeon is full of Tumeroks: Warriors, Officers, Gladiators, and even a few High Tumeroks and a High Priest. The tool spawns every 3-5 minutes, but is on the new quest timer that prevents you from getting it twice within a single twenty-four hour period ( I have recently heard reports that this timer may be longer or bugged.) A text that needs to be translated at the Cragstone Library spawns with the tool. Entrance You enter the vault on the top of a huge downward slanting ramp. The entrance does not have any monster spawns, and it is safe to wait there or buff if you like. Head down the ramp. At the bottom are six Warriors, as well as a couple of officers in the room below. There is also an exit portal here if you change your mind (chicken out). Head down into the bottom room and take the tunnel to the west. There may be an officer and a couple warriors in this tunnel. Follow the tunnel down until you get to a small hallway.
The First Trick To the east is a door that can only be opened with a switch. To the west is a passageway full of blue crystals. There are several Officers on a ledge surrounding this hall and a High Priest on a ledge at the end of the hall. Proceed west down the hall and open the door at the end. Past the door is a switch and another locked door. Use the switch and run back East. Go through the now open, east door, and use the switch on the floor to open the last locked door back to the West. Run all the way back west and through the last door.
Jumping part Once through the last door, turn to the north and follow the main hall until you come to a door. Open the door, and enter the room. To the north, you will see large pillars. Jump across to one of the pillars, and then turn east and jump from pillar to pillar, and finally from the last pillar into the doorway. It is ok to miss jumps, as there is a ramp that you can use to get back up and try again. However, if you miss the last jump, you will fall into a small fissure. The only way out of the fissure is to take the exit portal, and start from scratch. Keep in mind, that this is the last exit portal until the very end of the dungeon.
At this point you are at the bottom of the pit, and there are four High Tumeroks above you. Push the button on the wall to open the door and exit the pit.
Hail Caesar - The Last trick and the Stone Tool Once you enter this hallway, the only Tums you will encounter are Gladiators. If you kill each one as you encounter them, you shouldn’t have much trouble. Note that the second hallway to the south has a door that must be opened with a switch. We will be coming back to this South Door. Follow the hallway east until you come to a metal door. This door has a Difficulty of (242). If you do not have lockpick or don’t feel like picking this lock, come back west a little, and use the first door you hit to the south. Kill the one or two Gladiators after the door and follow the passageway to a second door. This door opens to the same room as the locked metal door. In this room, there are about 4-6 Gladiators on the same level, as well as about 10-15 more on a ledge above you.
Do with them as you will. There is a switch on the floor in the NE corner of the room. Use it, and go back down the long hallway to the west and through the now open South Door. There is another switch on the floor. Use this switch to open the last Door of the dungeon. Go back to the room where all the Gladiators are, and go through the last set of doors. The End Congratulations. You made it to the stone. No Tumeroks spawn in this room, and it is relatively safe to wait here. Occasionally the Tums will shoot through the walls and the door, so be careful. Also, once the last set of doors closes you in, the only way to get out is to use the portal, recall, or have someone else open the door from the other side.
